A non-lethal, high-voltage pulse fence that stops intruders at your boundary line and raises the alarm the instant someone tries to cross, backed by battery and solar power so it keeps working right through load-shedding.

What it is
An electric security fence is a set of tensioned live wires, called strands, fitted on top of your boundary wall or built as a full standalone perimeter. An energizer sends a short, high-voltage pulse along those strands about once a second, engineered to shock and deter, not to injure. It does three jobs at once, and that is why it beats a plain wall or razor wire on its own.
Visible strands and warning signs tell an intruder the boundary is live before they ever touch it. Most give up right here.
If they try anyway, cutting or shorting a strand instantly triggers the system, the layer an ordinary wall simply does not have.
A loud siren sounds and an alert can reach your phone, turning a silent break-in attempt into an immediate warning.
Where it is used
Live strands added on top of an existing boundary wall, the most common setup across Pakistan, giving a normal wall an active, alarmed top layer.
A full-height standalone electric perimeter where there is no wall yet, common across the farmhouse belt and the Murree and Galyat areas.
Long commercial perimeters that need real deterrence and alarming, integrated cleanly with existing chain-link or razor wire.
Properties that sit empty part of the year need an alarm, not just a wall. The system watches the boundary while you are away.
Strand count and post height are set to your wall, so the deterrent matches the real climb risk, not a one-size guess.
Strongest when combined with passive fencing below it, more on that further down this page.
The complete system
A reliable system is far more than wire on a wall. Every part below is supplied and installed by our own team, sized to your perimeter after the survey.
The heart of the system. A quality imported, non-lethal energizer, sized to your perimeter so every strand carries a consistent pulse.
Typically 6 to 10 galvanized or stainless-steel strands. The number depends on your wall height and the deterrence you need.
Corrosion-resistant mounting with proper insulators that keep the live wire isolated, essential to work safely and last.
A loud siren on any tamper or cut, with optional SMS or phone alert so you know the moment the boundary is challenged.
Keeps the fence live and armed through load-shedding and power cuts, a must-have in Pakistan, not an optional extra.
Correct earthing for reliable operation, plus the yellow warning signage that responsible, legal installation requires.
Safety & legality
Yes, when it is installed correctly. A genuine electric security fence uses a pulsed, non-lethal energizer, the same internationally standardised technology used around the world. The current is delivered in short pulses, not as a continuous live current, so it shocks and deters without causing lasting harm. Responsible, legal installation means a certified non-lethal energizer, clear warning signage, correct earthing, and keeping the fence within your own boundary line. Mounted at wall-top height or clearly signed, it is safe for children and pets going about normal life inside your property.
Pricing
Electric fencing is priced per running foot of perimeter, not per square foot. Complete systems generally run from PKR 350 to PKR 950 per running foot, supplied and installed. Where you land depends on the details on the right.

Why Margalla Fencing
An electric fence is your active layer, it reacts and alarms. But the strongest perimeters stack it on passive layers: a solid wall or chain-link at the base, razor or barbed wire above, and the live electric strands on top. Most electric-fence companies fit only the electric part and leave the rest to someone else.
Because Margalla Fencing supplies and installs the full range, we design and build the whole perimeter as one properly integrated system, from a single team that stands behind all of it.

Common questions
Yes. A non-lethal, pulse-based electric security fence is legal when it is installed responsibly, within your own boundary, with proper warning signage and earthing. What is illegal and dangerous is wiring a fence straight to mains electricity, which we never do.
Yes. Every system we install includes battery backup, and we strongly recommend solar backup on top of it, so the fence stays live and armed through power cuts. In Pakistan that is essential, not optional.
Yes. The pulse is designed to deliver a sharp, memorable shock, not an injury. Installed at wall-top height or clearly signed, it is safe for your family and pets inside the property.
Absolutely, that is the most common installation. We mount posts and live strands along the top of your current boundary wall, turning it into an alarmed, active barrier.
